Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivilent required.
• Associates Degree in related field preferred.
• Prior administrative office procedures within a physician office required.
• Knowledge & experience in payor authorization requirements required.
• CPR Certification through the American Heart Association required within first year of hire.
• NHA or NCCT Medical Assistant Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Physician or Advanced Practice Provider to obtain all authorizations for surgery.
• Schedule the surgery.
• Prepare all necessary items needed prior to the day of procedure.
