Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain an active, accurate surgery schedule for assigned providers and service lines.
• Coordinate surgical procedures across hospitals and centers, schedule pre-op testing and collect documentation.
• Collaborate with patients, physicians, staff and ORs to ensure timely scheduling and communication.
• Provide administrative support and resolve routine and complex customer questions.
• Interact with patients, families, physicians, and third-party carriers on patient-related issues.
• Exercise independent judgment to plan and prioritize a diversified workload.
• Communicate with clinical staff to maximize department time and utilization.
