Endeavor Health in Naperville seeks a Surgical Scheduler in the OBGYN department to coordinate surgical cases, verify details, and arrange operating room time, pre-op prep, and post-op communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare terminology knowledge or prior healthcare experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical skills to maintain and modify scheduling modules.
• One year of EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgeries for the department under supervision and according to policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve scheduling issues and identify efficient schedules.

Hourly Pay Range:

$20.29 - $29.42 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Surgical Scheduler - OBGYN
• Location: 100 Spalding, Naperville
• Full Time: 36 hours a week
• Office Hours: Monday-Thursday 8a-4p, Friday 8a-3p. No weekends.
• Required Travel: Occasionally

What you will do:

• Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, this position is responsible for scheduling surgeries for the department. Collaborates with other team members to assist in problem resolution to identify the most efficient schedule.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical terminology or previous experience in healthcare setting
• Ability to communicate using both written and verbal skills
• Proficiency with organizational and interpersonal skills
• Analytical skills in order to maintain and modify the scheduling module
• Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience
• One year of EPIC experience
