Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Surgical Scheduler for the OBGYN department at 1200 S York Rd, Elmhurst. This full-time role (36 hours/week) involves coordinating surgical schedules and supporting patient flow in a busy ambulatory setting.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, healthcare terminology familiarity, strong written and verbal communication, and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. EPIC experience is preferred; travel is occasional.

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Surgical Scheduler - OBGYN
• Location: 1200 S York Rd, Elmhurst
• Full Time: 36 hours a week
• Office Hours: Mondays-Fridays 8am-4:30pm No weekends.
• Required Travel: Occasionally

What you will do:

• Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, this position is responsible for scheduling surgeries for the department. Collaborates with other team members to assist in problem resolution to identify the most efficient schedule.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical terminology or previous experience in healthcare setting
• Ability to communicate using both written and verbal skills
• Proficiency with organizational and interpersonal skills
• Analytical skills in order to maintain and modify the scheduling module
• Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience
• One year of EPIC experience
