Mission Pet Health is seeking a Credentialed Surgery Veterinary Technician to lead anesthesia and surgical support across its network. You will monitor patients, assist surgeons, and ensure sterile technique while maintaining records and client communication.

The role requires AVMA-accredited training and an active state license, with a focus on post-operative care, diagnostics, and team mentorship.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Experience in anesthesia, surgical nursing, or specialty/referral preferred.
• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, drug calculation, phlebotomy, IV catheter placement.
• Calm, efficient, collaborative, and able to handle fast-paced situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead anesthesia and patient monitoring during procedures.
• Accurately calculate, prepare, and administer anesthetic agents and meds.
• Assist surgeons, maintain sterile technique, manage instruments.
• Perform phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, provide diagnostics support.
• Oversee post-operative care and pain management.
• Discharge and educate clients on post-surgical plans.
• Maintain medical records, train teammates, and support operations.
