Job summary

Animal Clinic of Chardon in Chardon, OH is seeking a credentialed Surgical RVT to lead our surgical team. This full-time, 4-day-per-week role emphasizes anesthesia, dentistry, and high-quality patient care under the Medical Lead.

The successful candidate will oversee surgical operations and ensure AAHA standards are met. The ideal RVT will have an AVMA-accredited program, a current license, and experience in anesthesia and surgery.

Qualifications

• AVMA-accredited veterinary technician program required.
• Current state veterinary technician license in good standing required.
• Experience in anesthesia, surgical nursing, or dentistry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key surgical technician and collaborate with the Medical Lead.
• Provide anesthesia and surgical support to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain and oversee surgical equipment and regulatory testing.
• Manage surgical supply inventory and ensure availability.
• Support AAHA surgical standards and monitor the surgical schedule.
• Help keep workflows organized and mentor junior team members.
