Job summary

Memorial is seeking a Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our high-performing perioperative team. You’ll provide safe, precise, compassionate care from pre-op through recovery, guiding patients and families through the surgical journey.

In a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you’ll supervise care delivery, coordinate individualized plans, and educate patients on what to expect before and after surgery. On-call duties may apply with 30-minute return requirement.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license (or compact licensure) required.
• BSN preferred per policy.
• CPR – Provider C certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care across surgical services.
• Supervise and coordinate patient care throughout the surgical experience.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain high standards in the OR environment.
• Support and educate patients and families before and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team.
