Job summary

The Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center in Manchester, NH is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team for surgical patient care and recovery. You will assess patients before and after procedures, administer medications, and support post-operative education while collaborating with surgeons and staff.

The ideal candidate has OR experience, NH RN license (or compact state), and valid BLS; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Operating Room experience strongly preferred.
• NH/Compact RN license required or eligible.
• BLS certification to be obtained during orientation.
• ACLS preferred additional qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs before, during, and after surgeries.
• Administer medications and perform wound care as necessary.
• Provide educational resources to patients about pre-surgical testing and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare providers to ensure patient safety.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or BSN preferred

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

NH RN license or Compact State RN license

BLS qualification during orientation

ACLS preferred
