The Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center Operating Room at Elliot Health System in Manchester, NH seeks a Perioperative Education Specialist who will lead learning initiatives and act as a change agent. This role supports onboarding, ongoing competency, and practice transition for RNs, Surgical Techs, and perioperative staff to promote evidence-based care.

Ideal candidates bring at least five years of RN OR experience, a BSN with CNOR certification, NH RN license, and a strong background in education

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of RN operating room experience.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• New Hampshire RN license required; CNOR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide oversight and coordination of perioperative onboarding, orientation, education, competency management, and quality initiatives.
• Develop and provide professional role development for perioperative staff.
• Manage the perioperative 101 program and development of new OR nurses.
• Facilitate student observation within the department.
• Coordinate educational activities with other departments or representatives.
• Participate in evaluating new products and education for staff when introduced.
• Represent the department in committees and meetings.
• Support surgical services across PACU/Pre-Op/IR/Endo with Resource Nurses.
