Job summary

Citizens Health in Colby, Kansas, is seeking a registered nurse to work full-time in the surgery department. The RN will report to the Surgery Manager and join a team dedicated to compassionate, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities include preparing operating rooms, scrubbing, passing instruments, and maintaining sterile fields, with on-call duties rotating monthly. A Kansas RN license and ACLS/BLS certifications are required for this role.

Qualifications

• RN license in Kansas is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications must be current.
• Surgical/perioperative care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and obtain supplies for day’s surgeries.
• Scrub and assist with procedures, pass instruments and maintain sterile fields.
• Take on-call duties on a rotating basis as required.
• Assist in cleaning instruments/equipment and stocking supplies.
• Provide comprehensive perioperative care and accurate documentation.
