Job summary

Hi-Desert Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide circulating and/or scrub nursing in the operating room, supporting the surgical team through all procedural phases. The role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and high-quality perioperative care.

The position offers a competitive sign-on bonus up to $25,000 for experienced RNs, with day shifts and full-time hours. California RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS are required within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma from accredited nursing program.
• California Registered Nurse.
• BLS.
• ACLS.
• PALS within 90 days of hire.
• Sufficient previous clinical experience as a First Assist.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-operative nursing care management and conducts nursing assessments.
• Performs intra-operative nursing activities and assists the surgeon and anesthesia team.
• Performs post-operative duties and communicates with recovery room staff and family.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Demonstrates scrubbing and circulating proficiency in the OR and guides ancillary staff.
