Job summary

DeTar Healthcare System in Victoria, TX seeks an Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care within a two-hospital system. You will coordinate nursing assessments, plan and implement care, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

The role requires 0–2 years of nursing experience, an active RN license, and BLS. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with on-call GI lab rotation as needed. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• RN license in texas or compact state required.
• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care per clinical protocols.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
