Job summary

DeTar Healthcare System in Victoria, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care across the nursing process in a two-hospital system with a century-long community legacy.

You'll collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to deliver high-quality care, administer medications, monitor patients, and participate in performance improvement initiatives while upholding safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in clinical nursing in an acute care setting is required.
• RN licensure in state or compact license is required.
• BCLS certification is required.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Assess patients thoroughly and document findings.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and team to implement care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
