Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN licensure required by state law and facility guidelines
• CPR and life support knowledge and skills necessary to perform duties

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process, policies, and protocols.
• Documents findings and changes in patient condition accurately.
• Provides age-appropriate care and education based on developmental needs.
• Administers medications and monitors for adverse effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code activities.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
