Job summary

Tanner is hiring a Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for Short Stay, Days, a part-time role with hours to be determined. The RN will supervise other RNs, LPNs, and staff, ensuring nursing care aligns with state regulations and patient needs.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning and implementing care, and evaluating outcomes. Licensure and CPR are required, with ACLS/NRP/PALS as specified timelines. Multiple locations available.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if GI call.
• NRP within one year of hire into Nursery and L&D
• PALS within on year of hire in PACU
• NOTE: SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in the performance of nursing care according to the state nurse practice act.
• The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.
