Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking a Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for Short Stay on the Day shift (Part-Time). The RN will supervise RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel, delivering nursing care in accordance with the state nurse practice act.

The role emphasizes patient assessment, care planning and evaluation of outcomes, with a part-time schedule and hours to be determined. It is set in a non-remote, in-hospital environment across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if taking GI call, or Cath Lab.
• NRP within one year of hire into Nursery and L&D
• PALS within on year of hire in PACU
• NOTE: SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in the performance of nursing care according to the state nurse practice act.
• The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.
