Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) on a part-time basis for our fast-paced 35-bed surgical and medical-surgical unit in Lebanon, NH. The role features a 0.60 FTE schedule with 24 hours per week across a 2×12 hour shift pattern, including rotation.

You will work with thoracic, colorectal, surgical oncology, general, vascular, and thoracic patients, gaining exposure to complex postoperative pathways.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program is required.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, diagnose, outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• Uses critical thinking and the nursing process to anticipate and recognize changes in patient status, modifying the plan or escalating as needed.
• Adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics to advocate for patients, uphold autonomy, and assist with informed decision-making.
• Actively seeks feedback and works to improve performance.
• Engages in the governance of practice.
• Manages interpersonal relationships for self and with others.
