Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.

• Minimum of one year perioperative or surgical services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient-centered nursing care based on established standards and the nursing process.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and per policy.
• Documents all aspects of patient care clearly and accurately.
• Monitors, evaluates, and communicates patient condition to healthcare team, patient, and family.
• Educates patients and families on surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and post-operative care.
