Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Illinois invites a Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room and Recovery Room teams. You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to provide high-quality perioperative care across orthopedics, general surgery, podiatry, gynecology, and robotic procedures.

A BSN is preferred; IL or MI RN licensure and BLS are required. Sign-on bonus offered and day-one investment in you.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in IL or MI.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience as an RN in a healthcare setting.
• EMR and MS Office basic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide care coordination across the continuum.
• Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary team.
• Support patients and families with psychological and physical needs.

Pay range for this position is $37.05 - $54.54/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan), Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: BSN
• Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
