Trinity Health's Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in the Surgery unit as part of an interdisciplinary team. The role involves using the nursing process, educating patients and families, and coordinating care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• BLS certification AHA; additional Life Support training as unit requirements.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Employment Type/Shift: FT/Days (10-hour shift) (Monday through Friday, w/ occasional weekend and call shifts)
• Apply nursing process to plan and manage care of routine patients, including patient and family education, and continuum of care planning.
• Effectively communicates patient/family information to health care team.
