Job summary

Linton-Delray Beach Surgery Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis in Delray Beach, Florida. The center is an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International and emphasizes patient- and family-centered care in a busy outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, hold ARRT registration, CPR current, and be able to work independently while handling multiple radiology tasks with strong communication

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
AART Registered and CPR Current.
Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and AAAHC regulations.
Must possess independent decision making skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

Perform IV and contrast administration, orthopedic, pediatric, OR, trauma, GI radiology.
Operate x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic radiographs and adjust exposure.
Prepare supplies and position patients for views with immobilization and protection.
Assist fluoroscopic examinations and special radiographic studies.
Record and label films; communicate findings to staff.
Consult with lead tech and radiologist to ensure quality standards.
Maintain clean, organized work area and equipment.
