Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with adherence to radiation safety and quality standards.

Requires graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with Florida licensure, ARRT certification, and current BLS. PRN hours, Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; may involve supervising students and operating radiology systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid Florida Radiologic Technologist licensure.
• ARRT certification.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy and physiology for interpretation and/or intervention.
• Exercises professional judgement in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to quality care.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Complies with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
• Assists in supervision of student technologists and training of new technologists.
