Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL seeks a Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team. Under radiologist supervision, you will perform routine radiographs and selected procedures, contributing to accurate diagnostic imaging with independence as needed.

Requirements include AMA-approved radiologic technology training, Florida licensure, ARRT registration preferred, and CPR/BLS certification. PRN schedule and varied shifts support flexible coverage at our busy hospital.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal radiological training in an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 3 years' of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• State License through the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control is mandatory.
• Preferably registered by and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a full range of diagnostic, specialty, invasive, surgical, and endoscopic imaging procedures.
• Operates fluoroscopy, C-arm, and cystoscopy systemes, ensuring documentation of contrast media usage.
• Independently selects and adjusts technical factors to produce high-quality imaging results.
• Maintains equipment cleanliness, functionality, and proper operation standards.
• Troubleshoots radiologic and fluoroscopy equipment issues and communicates with the team.
• Demonstrates flexibility in modifying techniques to meet patient and exam-specific needs.
