Job summary

OrthoNebraska in Omaha seeks a Surgery Radiology Technologist to support fast-paced OR cases with fluoroscopic imaging and x-ray exams. You will work closely with the OR team and surgeons to obtain high-quality images while maintaining sterile technique and radiation safety standards.

Required AMA-approved radiologic technology education, ARRT(R) certification, Nebraska radiographer license, and BLS. On-call availability evenings and weekends is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• Nebraska state Medical Radiographer license required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ years of hospital OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiology equipment safely and in accordance with radiation safety protocols.
• Perform fluoroscopic and portable x-ray exams in the OR.
• Collaborate with surgeons and OR staff to optimize positioning and image quality.
• Maintain sterile field and assist as needed.
• Be available for on-call evenings/weekends as required.
