Job summary

OrthoNebraska is seeking a Surgery Radiology Technologist to join our fast-paced OR team. You will perform quality diagnostic x-ray and c-arm exams, adjust technical parameters, and work with the surgeon to optimize positioning and image quality while maintaining a sterile field.

Requirements include ARRT(R), Nebraska Radiographer license, BLS, AMA-approved radiologic technology education, and 1+ year OR experience preferred; on-call evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology school.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• Nebraska state Radiographer license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiation-emitting equipment safely per protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Perform quality diagnostic portable x-ray and c-arm exams.
• Adjust technical parameters to obtain optimal images.
• Assess patient positioning and adapt to complete exams efficiently.
• Collaborate with surgeons and team; maintain sterile field.
• On-call evenings and weekends may be required.
