Job summary

USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital in Arizona is seeking a Radiology Technologist PRN to perform quality diagnostic procedures in surgery and standard radiology exams. The role operates X-ray equipment, prepares rooms and maintains radiation safety.

Must be AMA-approved Radiologic Technology graduate, state-licensed radiologic technologist in Arizona, ARRT registered, and BLS certified; OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED.
• Graduate of an AMA – approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• 1-3 years of experience or a combination of experience and educational background.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Licensed by the State of Arizona as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License.
• Current BLS certification.
• Operating Room experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner in surgery or in regular diagnostic radiological exams.
• Operates X-ray equipment, C-ARMS, prepares patient rooms and equipment.
• Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams preformed.
