Job summary

United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) in Texas is seeking a motivated Radiology Technologist to join our ASC team. The Radiology Technician will perform imaging procedures, operate 9800 and Mini OEC C-Arms, and maintain sterile technique during spine, ortho or pain procedures.

Ideal candidates will hold an accredited Radiological Technology program, be AART Registered and CPR current, and possess a valid Texas MRT license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program.
• AART registration current and CPR current.
• Texas MRT license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiology procedures under physician direction.
• Operate imaging equipment including 9800 and Mini OEC C-Arms.
• Maintain sterile field during operating room procedures (spine, ortho, or pain).

Job Summary:

The Radiology Technician will perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including operation of special imaging and radiology equipment. Skilled at sterile field assistance during operating room with Spine, Ortho or Pain procedures. Maintains a professional relationship with physicians and staff.

Required Skills:

• Must possess strong OR skills.
• Must have experience using both 9800 and Mini OEC C-Arms.
• Must possess independent decision making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
• AART Registered and CPR Current.
• Must have a current Texas state license (MRT)
• One-year hospital experience required (3+ years preferred).
• Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations
