Job summary

St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Surgery department. You will image patients undergoing surgical procedures, position patients, and work directly with the surgical team to ensure optimal radiographs.

The role requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, current ARRT and LSRT licenses, and a minimum of two years' experience in an outpatient surgical facility or inpatient hospital. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current ARRT license and LSRT license.
• Two years experience in outpatient surgical facility or inpatient hospital.
• Current BLS certification through ILCOR-accredited courses.

Responsibilities

• Image patients undergoing surgical procedures and coordinate with the surgical team.
• Safely manipulate radiographic equipment and position patients.
• Track patient studies and PAS acquisition; perform related radiology tasks.
• Adhere to radiation protection standards and department policies.
