Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited radiological technology program.
• ARRT registered in Radiology and LA state LSRT license.
• New graduates may present a temporary LSRT license.
• BLS certification from ILCOR-accredited courses with a manikin check off.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with patients of all ages.
• Must possess strong guest relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe manipulation of radiographic equipment.
• Positioning of patients and use of radiation protection devices.
• Select technical factors to produce optimum radiographs.
• Track patient studies and PACS acquisition of the study performed.
• May perform other delegated tasks to support the Radiology Department.

Accredited radiological technology program

ARRT registered in Radiology

LSRT license (LA state Radiology)

BLS certification (ILCOR courses)
