Overview

UASI is seeking experienced Professional Surgical Coders who are CPT coding experts in the professional billing of surgical cases in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This remote position offers HIM professionals the opportunity to utilize and enhance their coding skills while enjoying the convenience of working from home.

Qualifications

• Experience coding a variety of specialties such as General Surgery, Urology, Podiatry, Orthopedics, ENT, Gyn, Cardiology
• At least 3 years of recent coding experience
• AHIMA or AAPC certification
• Technical skills with remote connectivity including VPNs, multi-factor authentication, and video conferencing platforms
• Proficiency with office software like Outlook and Excel
• Reliable and punctual attendance with a regular schedule
• Ability to meet client productivity targets while maintaining a coding quality of 95% or higher
