• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• CRCST and CER certifications required; CER within six months if not currently CER certified.
• Five years of Sterile Processing experience with at least one year as an educator in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support on topics pertinent to Surgical Processing Technicians, including onboarding new hires and annual competency.
• Conduct ongoing skills assessments for new equipment, standards and regulatory updates; participate in hiring and survey preparation.
• Collaborate with the Perioperative clinical educator to support clinical staffing that impacts operations.
