Job summary

The role requires an RN or LPN with current licenses, BLS and ACLS, and PALS within 90 days. Strong communication, leadership, and critical-thinking skills are essential to coordinate care before surgery and ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• Valid RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification within 90 days of start date.
• 1 year of RN/LPN experience preferred, ambulatory setting.
• PALS certification within 90 days of start date assigned ASC pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all documents/tests are present on charts 1–3 days prior to procedure.
• Obtain a full patient health assessment and medication reconciliation.
• Follow admission criteria set by Medical Director and organization.
• Maintain PAT files on all outpatient surgeries.
• Serve as liaison between health care team to coordinate high-quality care.
