Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach seeks a Physician Assistant to support GI-extenders with surgical and clinical duties. The role includes preliminary patient assessments, history taking, and assisting in operative procedures under physician supervision.

The candidate should hold Florida PA licensure, CPR, and ideally NCCPA certification, with an associate degree as a baseline and a bachelor’s degree preferred. On-site work and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Florida license required.
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) desired.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary patient assessment and obtain history.
• Assist surgeon as first or second assistant in operations.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with peroperative care.
• Review test results and monitor patient status across visits.
• Ensure confidentiality and professional conduct.
