Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree and PA program accreditation by CAHEA/CAAHEP/ARC-PA.
• Experience in direct patient management in the surgical or medical subspecialty of the department.
• Surgical assisting experience if working with a surgical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provides PA services in inpatient care under physician supervision.
• Rounds on service patients, writes orders, and documents daily notes.
• Assists in surgical procedures and performs minor procedures as per PA Practice Description.
• Oversees medications and coordinates outpatient care and follow-up.
• Documents and bills for services with appropriate codes.
