Our client offers a wide range of high-quality medical care to residents of Southern Oregon. The 125-bed hospital combines the small hospital feel with the high-tech capabilities of a modern facility.

Our client is looking for a Physician Assistant to join our orthopedic surgery team in beautiful Oregon. This is 100% clinical position which consists of acute care such as fracture wound care, urgent care and primary care referrals, as well as scheduled managed care. Scheduled managed care would involve osteoarthritis treatment, injections, and other non-operative patients.

Position Requirements:

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.

License / Certification:

• Current unrestricted PA license
• Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) also required upon start.
• Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospitals programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Experience/Skills:

• Minimum of two years experience practicing as a Physician Assistant in orthopedics is required.
• Must have fracture wound care experience.
