Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physician Assistant for Surgical Specialty-Operative roles in Texas. The provider will deliver direct patient care, prescribe medications, and be credentialed and billed as an independent Medicare/Medicaid provider.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Current Texas PA license; NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health and medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe and manage medications within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members on treatment plans.
• Provide perioperative and post-operative patient care.
