Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) for Surgical Specialty - Non-Operative. This licensed, certified provider renders direct patient care with delegated prescriptive authority and is credentialed and billed as an independent provider, recognized by Medicare and Medicaid.

The role supports adult and pediatric patients across specialties such as General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Otolaryngology, and more.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited PA program.
• Current Texas PA license.
• NCCPA certification.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and examine patients and obtain medical histories.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate lab tests and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications and other therapies as appropriate.
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans with physician collaboration.
• Counsel patients and families on medical processes and health promotion.
