Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA program.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• Current Texas PA license.
• BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive or focused physical examinations and medical histories.
• Orders and interprets labs and diagnostics to assess health needs.
• Prescribes or recommends medical therapies and conducts procedures.
• Formulates treatment plans and collaborates with physicians and team members.
• Counsels patients and families on medical processes, medications, and health promotion.
• Maintains records detailing treatment plans and outcomes and coordinates referrals.
