Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and PA certification or eligible.
• Minimum 1 year of pathology assistant experience.
• Completion of an accredited pathology assistant program.
• Preferred master's degree in Biology or Medical Technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist pathologists with gross examination and prosection of tissue.
• Support intraoperative consultations and tissue triage.
• Instruct residents, fellows, and students as needed.
• Serve as liaison between pathologists, grossing, and histology staff to improve workflow.
