Job summary

Stony Brook University’s Department of Pathology seeks a faculty member to contribute to Surgical Pathology and medical education. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and record, with tenure/non-tenure track options.

Candidates must have an MD or DO (or foreign equivalent), board eligibility or certification in Anatomic Pathology, and NY licensure eligibility. Fellowship in Medical Renal Pathology or 4+ years in renal pathology is preferred.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required with Board eligibility/certification in Anatomic Pathology.
• Eligible for New York State licensure.
• Fellowship in Medical Renal Pathology or 4+ years of renal pathology experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve in Surgical Pathology and medical education responsibilities.
• Educate medical students, pathology residents, and clinical fellows.
• Contribute to scholarly activities and clinical/translational research as appropriate.
