Schedule includes 24/7 coverage with day/night/weekends. Per Diem requires a minimum of 1 shift per month; self-scheduling model is used to assign shifts.

Stamford Health is currently seeking an experienced per diem Surgical Physician Assistant to join our team! This is an immediate need for a Physician Assistant to work in the Surgical Subspecialties at Stamford Hospital. This is a per-diem position requiring clinical work and OR First Assist. The PA will assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients presenting with a variety of medical and surgical conditions which range from chronic diseases, acute illnesses, and health care maintenance. Under the direction of or in consultation with a physician, the PA will provide a broad spectrum of general patient care. Patient population includes approximately 95% Urology and Neurosurgery with an occasional Oral and Maxillofacial and ENT patients.

Schedule: 24/7 coverage in-house surgical team - day/night/weekends. Per Diem - Minimum 1 shift per month. Self-scheduling type model.
