Yale New Haven Health is seeking a General Surgery Physician Assistant to support ENT, Urology, GYN, Plastic Surgery, and Robotic Surgery teams at 267 Grant St, Bridgeport, CT. This on-site role emphasizes OR first assisting, pre- and post-operative care, and collaboration with surgeons to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Robotics training is a plus; applicants should be graduates of an accredited PA/NP program and hold CT licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
• Prefer clinical working experience as a PA within the given specialty/service line.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, triage, and therapeutic management as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with operative cases as a first or second assistant where scope allows.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
• Ensure accurate documentation in hospital records and compliance with regulations.
• Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities.
