Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) to join the GI-Extenders team. The role focuses on preliminary patient assessment, history taking, and coordination of care with surgeons in the operating room.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with PA license and required certifications.
• Florida license is required; CPR certification is desired.
• Prior PA experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preliminary assessment of patients and complete history taking.
• Review tests and results since last visit and note changes.
• Assist surgeon as first or second assistant and participate in operating room techniques.
• Maintain sterile field, aseptic technique, and safe handling of instruments and sharps.
• Attend lectures or conferences; participate in hospital performance improvement activities.
