Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. in Key West seeks a Physician Assistant for full-time responsibilities in the operating room and patient care. You will perform assessments, assist with preoperative procedures and act as a first or second assistant to the surgeon.

The position requires Florida PA licensure; NCCPA certification is desired and CPR certification is expected. A strong foundation in sterile technique and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Florida PA license required; NCCPA certification desired; CPR certification.
• Associate degree required, bachelor's preferred in area of expertise.
• Prior PA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary patient assessments and complete histories.
• Assist in preoperative procedures and anesthesia-related tasks.
• Assist surgeon as first or second assistant during operations.
