Job summary

Filesusr is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Surgical Subspecialties team in Worcester, MA. This full-time position offers a fast-paced hospital setting with a 24x7 service covering multiple surgical areas, including Urology and Plastic Surgery. Flexible shifts (24s, 12s, and 8s) help avoid a rigid 5-day routine.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA program; master's degree preferred.
• Active Massachusetts PA license or eligibility to obtain before start date.
• Massachusetts CDS and DEA registration or eligibility to obtain them before start date.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to meet credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative and postoperative care to surgical patients.
• Round daily on hospitalized patients.
• Perform emergency department and inpatient consultations.
• Manage admissions, discharges, postoperative care, and bedside procedures.
• Serve as surgical first assistant; robotic surgery experience preferred but not required.
