Qualifications

• RN - Licensed as a Registered Nurse and eligible to practice in Kentucky.
• BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider within 45 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care following policies, procedures and protocols.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition; coordinates care with the healthcare team.
• Coordinates discharge planning needs with patients and families.
• Provides patient and family education considering age, culture and ability to learn.
• Follows Nurse Practice Act in all job duties.
