Hudson Regional Health in Hoboken, NJ is seeking an Operating Room/Surgical Technician to support surgical teams on a day shift. You will prepare sterile environments, assist during procedures, and maintain infection control throughout all phases of surgery.

The role requires CST certification, BLS, and a background in or exposure to OR settings. On-call availability and teamwork are essential to ensure smooth procedures and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must have CST certification and BLS
• Completion of accredited surgical technology program required
• Experience in operating room preferred but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential

Responsabilités

• Prepare operating rooms with instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes
• Assist surgeons and nurses by passing instruments and supplies
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control standards
• Inspect and ensure proper functioning of instruments before/after use
• Manage inventory of surgical supplies to prevent delays
• Assist in sterilization and storage of instruments post-procedure
• Document procedures and instrument counts for safety
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient OR turnover
• Perform additional duties as assigned
