Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a non-permanent OR Assistant to support our surgical teams. This PRN role involves transporting supplies, assisting with patient movement, scrubbing on cases for retraction, and providing setup and turnover support in the OR.

You will help pull cases, open and set up procedures, assist with cleaning and sterilization, maintain equipment and supplies, and support the Circulating Nurse as delegated.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of ORA II competencies for sterile technique, anatomy, and patient safety.
• Clinical experience is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Transport supplies, equipment, and patients to the OR.
• Scrub on surgical cases for retraction as assigned.
• Assist with pulling cases, opening/setup of procedures, and cleaning of OR rooms.
• Reprocess sterile instruments and maintain supplies and carts.
• Assist Circulating Nurse with delegated duties and support patient care.
