Baptist Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Main OR at the Downtown Campus in Jacksonville, FL. This PRN, days position supports the surgical team by maintaining a sterile field and handing instruments to surgeons throughout procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and patient safety, with responsibilities including room setup, case coordination, and post-case restocking.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT preferred, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Assist the surgical team during procedures and maintain sterile environment.
• Hand instruments to surgeons during procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and restock the operating room between surgeries.
• Coordinate and communicate with OR staff to support optimal patient care.
