Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Documented experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) or in a perioperative nursing role.
• Up-to-date certifications as required by the facility and regulatory bodies.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and patient safety measures.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced, demanding clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control standards.
• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments according to procedure requirements.
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively and communicate effectively with the surgical team.
• Document patient care activities in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
